The Shenandoah Area Council now operates two camps, Rock Enon and Sinoquipe

  • Sinoquipe Scout Reservation, located in Fort Littleton, Pennsylvania, hosts our Scouts BSA summer camp program offering a traditional merit badge program and summer camp experience for youth 11-17 years old.
  • Camp Rock Enon Scout Reservation, located west of Winchester, Virginia, is the base-camp for our Adventure and Specialty programs for Scouts BSA and Venturing youth age 13+ and our Cub Scout summer camp program for youth age 6-10 years old.

Scouts BSA troops attending summer camp at Sinoquipe that have Scouts or adults interested in reserving a space for one of the Adventure or Specialty programs based out of Rock Enon will register with their Troop through the reservation at Sinoquipe.

Scouts BSA troops interested in only attending one of the Adventure or Specialty programs based out of Rock Enon will register through the Sinoquipe reservation system.

Scouts interested in attending one of the Adventure or Specialty programs based out of Rock Enon may register to attend as a Provisional Scout or with leadership from their Troop.

Participants can be transported directly to Rock Enon, or transportation will be provided from Sinoquipe on Sunday to Rock Enon and back to Sinoquipe on Saturday.

Camp Rock Enon and Camp Sinoquipe are owned and operated by the Shenandoah Area Council, BSA. They are administered by a full-time Facility Management team, trained and certified by the National Camping School of the Boy Scouts of America. Both camps are inspected annually by the local Department of Health and internally through the National Camp Accreditation Program. They are consistently rated as a Nationally Accredited Boy Scouts of America Camp.

Any Shenandoah Area Council Scouts BSA troop that has not attended a Shenandoah Area Council summer camp in the past three years will receive a $25 discount per youth when they sign up for Sinoquipe summer camp in 2026.

This discount only applies to Shenandoah Area Council Scouts BSA troops.

A $25 discount will be automatically applied to each registered youth by the Council.

Refer another Scouts BSA troop from your council and receive a $25 discount per youth when they register to attend Camp Sinoquipe in 2026.

This discount only applies to Out of Council Scouts BSA troops that attended Camp Sinoquipe in 2025.

Complete this REFERRAL FORM. We will contact the troop to invite them to check out our summer camp programs. If they register to attend Camp Sinoquipe in 2026, we will apply a $25 discount to each youth registered in your troop who is coming to Sinoquipe in 2026.

Camp Sinoquipe now offers the option to cook in your campsite. A great way to put those Scout skills to the test while at Summer Camp.

You tell us how many Patrols and the number of Scouts and Leaders in each.

We supply a freestanding two burner propane cooking stove with propane tank, a patrol box with all the basic equipment needed to prepare, cook, serve and clean up, and all necessary food ingredients and suppplies for each meal during the week. We also provide additional staple and supplemental supplies you may need.

The dining hall will serve as the COMMISSARY and a dedicated staff will package up the needed items for each meal ready for pickup 90-minutes prior to each meal time for lunch (10:30am) and dinner (4:30pm). For your convenience our staff will deliver the items for breakfast to your campsite at 6:30am.

  • Sunday dinner is prepared by our Food Service staff and served in the dining hall.
  • Friday dinner is prepared by our Food Service staff and served in the dining hall.
  • Saturday breakfast is prepared by our Food Service staff and served in the dining hall.
